No he isn't you fucking sped.

You can hold that opinion, but Atavan just didn't make a good argument to back it here.

So what that his lyrics aren't very deep or introspective. He's extremely entertaining as a pop musician.

But guys he's one of the best country-pop musicians of all time. Up there with...I dunno, fucking Brooks & Dunn or some shit

How can you compare Brooks and Dunn to Billy Ray Cyrus and everything he has down for the music world? I mean sure he's not the most stylish guy to walk down the red carpet but having a mullet doesn't mean that someone can't be a great musician, which is what BRC definitely is.

Give me one morsel of evidence that BRC is a great musician.

His ability to write infectious pop songs, which isn't a high art by any means but it's definitely something to be respected. Would anyone say that Michael Jackson isn't a great musician just because he wasn't writing concertos or some kind of rock opera? No, because he made consistently catchy, entertaining tunes. Actually in a lot of ways, Billy Ray Cyrus was the Michael Jackson of country.

Except BRC was a one hit wonder, MJ had a number of hits. Point = irrelevant fail

No he wasn't. Could've Been Me, She's Not Cryin' Anymore, and Achey Breaky Heart were all pretty big hits, and that's just off this album alone. He has been nominated for a Grammy and has sold millions and millions of records. So, no, he was not a one hit wonder. He may have had one hit bigger than all the others (as did Jackson) but he was not a one hit wonder. You = fail.

Billy Ray is known for two things to non-country-diehards: Achy Breaky Heart and Hannah Montanna. That's it.

I mean I really didn't want to turn this into a debate, I just thought it was a low quality review. Sorry for holding a different opinion.

Nobody here cares if you have a different opinion so long as you can back it up well enough.
You haven't.
