Hatebreed is, IMO, the perfect definition of a live band. Live, they're intense, fun and awesome. On tape, they put out the same generic album over and over. That's how I felt about Bury Your Dead.

I actually didn't really care for Bury Your Dead UNTIL I saw them live. They opened and closed with BURY YOUR FUCKING DEAD both times I saw them. I still only like the first 2 discs, but I guess I haven't given the newer stuff much of a chance.
Unearth is still my favorite live "core" band though. Fucking insane.

For the Lions doesn't really count, it was a cover album.

Hatebreed is seriously one of the most boring bands of all time. Jamie Jasta sounds like utter shit.

I'm Not sure what to make of this album yet, i like a lot of others loved satisfaction and perseverance, i haven't given this more than one listen yet, but right now i'm thinking if you took the best 5 from this disc, the best 5 from supremecy, and the best 3 or 4 from ROB and you'd have a kick ass disc.

I definitely dig this one, at least Hatebreed decided to try something somewhat different for once.

I definately give them credit for trying to expand their horizons but i'm not sure if the've been that successfull..... a lot of riffs seem to be so so, and while yes there is more technicality and shredding in the guitar section now, it just doesnt have the impact that their old stuff did. and it seems the more jamey tries to be catchy the more it seems forgetable.... i dont mind if he sticks with his positive themes, but maybe he could stand to expand his vocabulary, or just put a little more effort into being less predictable.

hatebreed + metalcore = instant sex

best thing about jasta is the fist pump roll he does at shows lol it kills me every time..
to me hatebreed is a live band..hearing the albums is alright but to be there picking up all the kids that hit the floor is where it's at

This is definitely a live band, but they're also a great gym band.

I might check this out..

Hatebreed was always like my pump up songs when my friend and I spar at kickboxing, he also plays Through The Thorns now when he goes for a comp, I got him into this band after I started listening with Perseverance. All in all I like this band and will stick by there side until I die... is all

Agree with Phoneater i do kickboxing too and if you ever need something to get you going before you train or fight Hatebreed is it. If this doesn't get you amped up nothing will "merciless Tide" gets me hyped up every time i listen to it.

this album is awful.it's so boring and repetitive.there isnt anything on this album that's rememberable because the songs all sound the same.
