when I was 18 I had trash music taste but that's unrelated to my embarrassing Adam D thing. I subscribed to their fan group from their website and they held a contest where the random winners would receive two tickets and meet & greet passes for the Music As A Weapon tour, 2009. I won two tickets and was super hyped, I was a huge fan of KsE at the time and Adam was a profound inspiration of a musician to me. Me and a friend went to the show and went into the m&g which took place right as Lacuna Coil started. We had a few shots of Jack beforehand and also smoked a j with some random people on the street because we didn't have a lighter for some reason and they did. So I was feeling pretty good. KsE's crew had us all line up on a wall before they all came out and greeted us, and as Adam walks up, I just kinda went full on stan mode and shouted "YOU ARE A GOD" at him. This makes him instantly freeze and look right in my eyes for a couple seconds before he takes a step towards me and makes this screwed up face and goes "huuuHHHHH??" Kinda like Tim Allen. I was instantly embarrased, but that didn't stop me from minutes later getting a photo with Howard, and when we went to pose I put my entire hand on the back of his head like a wizard's orb. He did not like this, but he let it happen and after the picture just gave me a glance and said "Don't do that." My friend with me jokingly told Howard "just punch him in the face, dude" to which Howard replied "nah I can't do that" and went to greet the next person.

this memory is painful to me everyday and I hope that whole band forgets I exist.
