It was cool meeting Alex Skolnick, although I wanted to chat with him a bit more. He's actually making a world music project called Planetary Coalition, which aims to gather musicians from all over the world (hence the name) to work on material together. Gonna be really epic stuff; Alex was playing some of it in his solo acoustic performance at NAMM. Lots of Latin and Middle-Eastern influences
