--This is their best album to me. Of course megadeth fanboys will disagree but this album is defnitely 100 times better then Countdown--
I'm close to agreeing. "Rust" has some of my favorite Megadeth songs, but this one is way more consistent. Both of them are definitely better than Countdown.

For me Countdown plays in a completely different league. Songwriting, production, overall feeling – just plain everything is done better on Countdown.
That doesn't mean this one is bad at all of course, the impact of the first two tracks is immense and that solo in How the Story Ends is brilliant. But the album as a whole has just lost it's replay value for me somehow.

The vocals on this are abysmal though
I realise this isn’t the strong suit of Megadeth but still

It isn't Dave's best performance but they never stroke me as weak link or something on here. But I just really enjoy Dave's snarling singing style to the max so probably I'm not the best person to objectively judge it.

On the fast songs they don't mesh with the music for me, they sound like they don't scan perfect and sit 'on top' of the music.

I don't know, this gets better with each revisit. It's pretty close to Peace and Rust imo

Weird how they went downhill fast after this one

Revisited the follow-up Thirteen lately and tbh there are quite a few jams on it (the one-two punch of Sudden Death and Public Enemy No. 1 comes to mind, as well as Wrecker and the Millennium of the Blind remake).
So it's not all bad but Super Collider was trash garbage. And Dystopia is just as good, if not better, than Endgame (fite me)

Most overrated thrash comeback album manages to be pretty decent overall.

I think Thirteen is pretty bland. Only Sudden Death and Never Dead are noteworthy. It's good Shawn Drover left the band for good, his contributions to Megadeth were so boring and uninspired...
I have to agree on Dystopia however, I enjoy it better than this one. It sounds more, well, organic and more inspired to me somehow.

Yeah RIP is far better than this.

Dystopia is easily superior to this, it isn’t even close. This has a couple of jams though.

Just wish there was only one version of the Dystopia album with every track on it. I hate it when there's different bonus tracks on different platforms
I supported it on PledgeMusic and didn't even get one bonus track

The singles off Dystopia rule. Most of the album is pretty bland and forgettable though.

Dave’s vocals are superior on Dystopia so for that alone you have to take it way more seriously

Whoa why the hell would a big ass band like Megadeth need crowdfunding in the first place?
