In my opinion, this is their best album to date.

the change was definitely for the better.

What change exactly? This seems like a culmination of the sound from Gutter, Hot Damn and Big Dirty to me…and honestly, this sounds like a B-side, composed of songs from the aforementioned albums…

Great CD. What a shocker, I expected this album to be shit.

"culmination of the sound from Gutter, Hot Damn and Big Dirty to me"

Thus making it their best album to date. Gutter's production sucked and dragged on for too long, Hot Damn wasn't catchy and The Big Dirty wasn't fast enough. All of these flaws are fixed on NJA and the lyrics are extremely good (Organ Grinder's lyrics rock).

Honestly don't know how you can't distinguish tracks. They're all very different.

Even objectively, this album is a mix of everything they've done without the faults.

Oh and Keith sounds like shit on Hot Damn, unlike on NJA.

just sayin'

"Hot Damn wasn't catchy" - Hot Damn was catchy as SHIT...Ebolarama anyone?

"Oh and Keith sounds like shit on Hot Damn" - Keith was incredible on that album, "just sayin'"! (Biased statement vs. biased statement - 101)

Oh, and the "culmination of the sound"-thing sounds good in theory, but they didn't pull it off...by a fucking long shot! Listened to the album again yesterday, and there are some genuinely bad songs on there...

I'm sensing we won't see eye to eye on this, which is fine...but a 5? Really?

Hot Damn! ruled. this is not as good as Hot Damn! or Last Night In Town but it's still pretty damn good.

Wanderlust has sweet harmonies, when the triplet guitar riff comes in with the drop in the vocal melody

This and Deliver Us are the only post 2004 metalcore albums that I can really get into. Also, I actually liked this way more than Hot Damn!

As much as I like Every Time I Die. Every time I hear a new album I think it sounds exactly the same as the last.
