NIN is more of a fusion of alt rock and industrial metal, while FLA is more of an EBM/industrial band with occasional metal influences

Haven't jammed this band in so long but there aren't many slow moments on this. It's just pretty overlong like most double albums.

Was actually just listening to this. Wow is this a masterpiece. I prefer TDS, but the fragile is pretty great too.
Just like you imagined is the best instrumental Trent has written.
album is too long though. especially on right. if left was the full album + the big come down and into the void, the album would be on par with TDS

I liked Hesitation Marks a lot personally, but it would be nice to see him try something as adventurous as this or Downward Spiral again.
