I often find myself not breathing when garden of light is over

Garden of Light is definetly the best song on Absence. However, there is not a song that truely rivals it on that album

Holy Tears is close. That song rips.

Lol I have this rated as a 4. That’s old news. This is my 2nd favorite Isis and it’s near perfect

The bass is just the craziest shit on here. His technique is not really the most technical, but it's how it's implemented, timed and used throughout this bands whole career. It often sounds massive.

It sucks that this band probably saw a massive drop in merch sales for the last few years.

Well, they have been broken up for nearly a decade so that doesn't help, but you'd think the ISIS bs would die down since they haven't been the media focus for quite some time now.

Ugh Syndic Calls is so great. The build up from the middle up until the end is gorgeous and depressing at the same time. They tend to evoke those things in their songs a lot of times

A lot of fans bought more shirts when they knew that the band was being attacked for no reason

In Fiction is easily one of my favorite metal songs. The buildup and explosion is immense.

I was so high on Isis from like, '10-'16 and then just haven't felt like listening to them at all since I descended into black metal. Ugh, something's broken deep down.

No, I think you'll get that passion for listening to them again. Easy to burn yourself out on great music.

I’ve been hunting for this on vinyl for a couple years but I demand the original artwork and that’s expensive...
