I don't know whats more tragic, the fact that Matt & Kim are essentially like every other self styled "indie" band trying to pop that limited bubble of pop induced gleeful form of symphonic entertainment or the fact that they only have one decent single that everyone will talk about when their gone from the music world and show up on VH1's 15 years from now on "greatest hits of the 2010's". Why can't any of these indie bands make a solid consistent album? They always rely on a single or get lucky and find success, but how long will that keep them going?

They actually have a bunch of great songs. You probably just never bothered to listen to them because you wanted to have a justified rant.

Music itself isn't bad, but I really can't stand the vocals. Listened to their three singles all the way through pretty recently, and I still feel same as when I first heard Daylight on the radio and thought "this guy is awful."
