Some of the songs are really Queen, "All the Pretty Girls" and "Benson Hedges" for instance, but others are more Beach Boys like"Barlights" and "Light a Roman Candle".

Agreed. The first influence that came to my mind was Beach Boys, but that's probably because I've not heard much Queen.
