My Michelle is a very good song by GNR. I dont think I want to ruin AFI's good rep with me by getting their cover.

Velvet Revolver are terrible as a recording band, in my opinion. Their live shows are amazing, however. The energy that they bring to the show is absolutely awesome. In order to like Velvet Revolver, you need to see them live.

I was dazed by Contraband for a few weeks. I still listen to a few tracks at times. Set Me Free, Slither, Come On Come In, and Sucker Train Blues. I think the production for the album was at a quite low end indeed. You can tell if you listen to one of the tracks on Contraband, then listen to Come on Come In or one of their covers they recorded later on. Libertad apparently promises many more things to come.

Spat, the recording quality is very crappy. Me, wanting to be a producer more than anything, pays attention to recording quality. The guitar tracks are way too loud and boomy, meanwhile, the bass tone is too crunchy, and Scott's voice echoes like a cave. Supposedly, Scott wasn't present for the songwriting, and had to work with the band's songs. He also personally mixed it himself on ProTools. This time around, he's there for the songwriting, so it's not gonna be as sketchy.

hey Rudd13, you like exactly the same VR tracks as me.
Listened to this album for the first time in a while earlier, it's still got the magic.

It does indeed. And Paradise City is overplayed. But 'overplayed' isn't being used in a negative conotation. :p
The best songs on here are Rocket Queen and Night Train.
