This album needs more love. I have In Rock (Purple's greatest studio effort) & Machine Head in front of it, but I love the bluesy feel & experimentation of Fireball. The title track kicks serious butt. Fools is a mighty tune. Demon's Eye is another favorite. I've heard Gillan say over the years that, looking back, Anyone's Daughter was probably best left off the album, but I don't mind the change of pace.

You may want to add that "The Mule" is not the only one to be featured on Made in Japan. "Strange Kind of Woman" was also on the live record.

Strange Kind of Woman was a single that was later added to reissues of Fireball just like When a Blind Man Cries with Machine Head

Fools is the best track on here, but this whole thing is super underrated. Probs Deep Purple's single best studio album
