Any day is suitable for a DGD binge.
Can't wait for the new album, need to check ''Care''.

Lol, I just remembered something. The rhythm guitarist on this album, Sean O'Sullivan, left the band due to Jonny being intolerant of his religious beliefs, which is funny because three months later Jonny got kicked out.

Number of times I've listened to each DGD album:

DBM: A couple hundred, easily. Has been one of my favorite albums of all time since it came out.

Self-Titled: Three times.

Happiness: Twice.

DBM II: Twice.

Acceptance Speech: Three times.

Instant Gratification: 5-6 times.

Mothership: Three times.

Artificial Selection: Once.

I've definitely heard all these tracks at least 600 or 700 times since it came out. Self titled rules dude listen to that one more. DBM II is pretty fun as well. Happiness is definitely worth skipping. The last 4 of those albums are also worth skipping actually. I think Mothership might be their worst

"I've definitely heard all these tracks at least 600 or 700 times since it came out."

That might also be the case for me. When you grow up with an album you love and listen to it all the time it's kind of hard to put an exact range of times that you've listened to it. I didn't like the self-titled album for many years, but I gave it another shot recently and it clicked with me.

Ghost said "Happiness is the best DGD album, whereas this album is not"

As long as we can agree that this is the best. Happiness is just totally not for me, I don't get the love for it. This sound is the whole point of the band for me, and Happiness has a totally different sound that I've never really enjoyed.

Fair enough, Happiness trumps this hard for me
