So the guitar tone and riffing style here are very similar to those used on the last two Mayhem albums to the point where I'd have to guess that Snorre was a major influence to them. But Snorre also played with Satyricon in the late 90's, and black'n'roll-era Satyricon also sounds a lot like this... so did Satyricon influence Thorns influence Mayhem, or is Snorre just a wizard? I'm still fuzzy on all the details.
