Man all this hype is making me want to give this album another shot. I jammed it a few times several years ago and liked it but it never made me itch to come back to it.

Why would a tattoo of the lp art be lame? Correct if im wrong but isnt the art from an old illustrated version of dantes inferno? I believe i own it actually. It’s a gorgeous and morose work, makes for a great tattoo imo even though I find body art to be kitsch

you sorta answered it yourself man. its gorgeous and would make for a great tattoo, but i find tattoos sorta lame/kitsch/tasteless so am sort of wary
but the guy doing it has sent me a mock-up of what it would look like a band round my arm where the people join up into an andless procession, and im pretty happy. just have to book the time in

I don't know whether I prefer this over CoC for my fav post-rock screamo.
CoC nail the atmosphere and their instrumentation is so evocative, but the musicianship here is top-notch.
