He could be in worse bands, assuming we're talking about the singer of this band. Polyamorous is gold, and I look at this the same as Crossfade. Radio rock.

The main problem with Ben is.... his fear of flying. When are these guys gonna swim/sail/hang-glide down under?
I prefer their subsequent albums, but then again I prefer more mainstream stuff.
