I somehow let this little EP pass, and dismissed it as probably just some B-sides of their newer stuff. I don't understand how this thing didn't gain more notoriety. I think it's genius in a lot of places. The Whale song is easily one of MM's best yet.

The 'King Rat' music video was animated by Heath Ledger. Though he passed away in the process and it was then finished by an arts school (I think)

Still, I miss Modest Mouse's more epic tracks found on The Moon and Antarctica. Stuff like '3rd Planet.'
