I never understood the hate for this album. Best Priest? Nope, but Burn In Hell, the title track, Cathedral Spires, and Bullet Train all kick ass.

Kind of reminds me of Forbidden's mediocre third album Distortion

Yeaaaaah...but Halford can't sing, though xD

Tim Owens is a much better singer. This album is great. 2nd favorite from Judas Priest. Painkiller and defenders of the faith as 1st and 3rd.

"why is this even reviewed"

well it's an album by a famous band, for starters

I love Halford as much as anyone but Tim gave it a good go here. unfortunately the songwriting team did not. I still really enjoy Bullet Train, Death Row, Jugulator, and Cathedral Spires -- the latter of which is actually an awesome song.

Yeah, i don't get the hate. I know i probably overrated it a bit, but it's still one of my favorite priest albums so...it deserves that.

Not sure why anyone would give it less than 2.5, really.

"They come at night and they infiltrate you, they paralyse and they mentally rape you!"

that's why you'd give it less than a 2.5
