Following a promising - if haphazard - debut LP, Welsh rockers Future of the Left return strongly on 'Travels With Myself And Another'. Containing 2 members of the now defunct McLusky, the trio are as unrelentingly intense as ever in showcasing their loud, cacophonous energy. While his sardonic lyrics are hit & miss, Andrew Falkous' snarling vocals carry a pleasing accessibility, as do the buzzing riffs & pulsating bass-lines. The skill here is how everything is so tight & controlled to raise tension; the musicianship, the melodies & even the 33 minute duration. Recommended Tracks: Lapsed Catholics, The Hope That House Built, I am Civil Service & Drink Nike.

Nope. It says "this rocks" & "this is somehow catchy".
