yeah i realize that sounds stupid, but it's true. it's just so relaxing and plays the role of ambient so well, it often puts me to sleep, but if i manage to stay awake through the whole album, it ends up being a very rewarding experience.

I take it you haven't heard an ambient record before? Its like I haven't been able to listen to a whole Stars Of the Lid release but I find it amazing because it is so relaxing, and beautiful.

yeah i'm surprised this hasn't become a big hit for sputnik, I don't think this is quite at the level of say Music for Airports, but this is one of the best releases for the genre since Copia in '07.

This review is everything that is wrong with the "indie" music scene. Such negativity is nothing new in art history..., the critic
tries to intellectualize his/her subjective opinion as objectivity. The critic becomes the anthesis of the artist in cases like this,
arguing that his/her creative instincts are superior. It is maddeningly commonplace in Indie-world, where every critic is
Beethoven.
I felt a need to respond to this review as this album, for me, is transcendental.
