Mettalum says their new album was released yesterday. Why has no one review it yet? ;_; It's pretty great.

Its actually pretty awful...sounds extremely generic and the new vocalist is embarassing...

Agreed, I was pretty disappointed with it. My 3.5 rating is sure to drop after I listen to it a few more times probably. The entire album is missing that Gorod "charm".

Exactly...5000 at a funeral is pretty tits and I like carved in the wind and the single...it's like they focused on removing everything unique about their brand of tech death. I wonder what change happened between transcendence and their newest...their original vocalist had such a cool style...Almighty's Murder has more memorable vocal parts then the enitrety of a perfect absolution, except that I remember how horrible the spoken/clean sections are on a perfect absolution...

Yeah im not sure they'll ever live up to how amazing Leading Vision was.
..and im a little worried about the fact me and Anthracks agree on something..

Normally not a fan of techdeath, but I find this album to be incredibly entertaining. Instead of the usual meandering sweep-wank-fest, it feels like the songs here have an actual structure.

so i ask this again and again, but why does it seem like france births some of the most distinct and unique bands into the metal pool of birthyness? hmmm very interesting, something to think about maybe, who knows.

France has always had amazing artists in all mediums, for a thousand years. Maybe there is something in the water?

I just added this band to my list to check out. Will do in the next month or 12

>Gorod's weakest album
It opens with "Disavow Your God," a song that still keeps me coming back 14 years later. Lol. Lmao, even.
