Whilst I enjoyed this album, the first couple of songs had me like "wow this is really bland," and it wasn't until the last three or so that it actually kicked into gear for me. I still find it to be really middle-of-the-road, average, formulaic, but it definitely improves. I then relistened to the first couple of tracks to see if it would grip me anymore, and it really didn't. I find most post-Pierced Suffo to be treading water, to varying degrees of quality, and whilst I prefer this to the self-titled, they're the two I found the least enjoyable.

I'm glad you like it Hawks, and I feel confident that a lot of hardcore Suffo fans will love this since it's more of the same of what they've always done, I just wasn't as swept up in it. Then again, outside of the first three, nothing has truly blown me away, with Pinnacle being the best of the post-Pierced records for me. It's definitely got some good moments though men m/

Idk nothing about fit for rivals lol. But yeah it's literally a step down from every previous suffocation album. Its not bad. But Everytime I put this on I'm like yeah it's alright but I could be listening to any other suffocation album minus of the dark light. The breeding the spawn remake track is the best one here and even then franks voice started to really get shot here and it's not even as good as the og version
