How does this compare with Microcastle?
|
| |
it's just an EP, but it's very similar. more of Microcastle's poppiness rather than weird era's psychadelicness
|
| |
Shoegaze? Ambient? Possibly Indie? I say possibly because I skimmed the review. Yeah, i'm definitely game.

| |
Well I've only heard Microcastle and loved it so I guess I'll pick this up sometime.

It's not really shoegaze or ambient, and although the influence is there it's really subtle. check out Microcastle/Weird Era anyway, before this.

If you liked Microcastle you will like this.

I'm pretty openminded so at the worst case, it'll just fly right past me.
Bit of a challenge to find but I have my beer goggles on.
I'll settle for Microcastle.

the EP is on slaysfordays

EP is definitely reminiscent of Never Stops, as well as Heatherwood, but a sound all its own. I'd say the warmest Deerhunter release!
Circulation is easily in the top 5 DH songs.

reminds me of the strokes
need more deerhunter material

I definitely agree, it's got a very summer feel to it.
