Really I cannot believe anyone enjoys this, i mean it doesnt sound bad, it is just so god damn monotonous. It is sooooooooooo boring, sooooooooooooo fucking boring. If you like this I assume you are just a musical elitist who only likes music that is so "experimental" and "progressive" that it cannot possibly be accessible to any one else on earth ..... or maybe I just suck.

In the genre of Drone Metal this is honestly verging on masterpiece. This album sets ground for others of the genre to try and follow. Each track has its own personality, each one breaking ground in the traditional Drone style. Whatever the do next has some big black boots to fill.

Some of you here, seriously, do you have to have choruses and chugging riffs for your ears to be entertained? Do you not understand atmosphere? Sunn O))) is like the audio of reading a dark novel, the soundtrack to a horror film, a journey into your own mind. You have to activate your imagination to even arrive at the doorstep of what this band accomplishes. Seriously if you really want the opposite of Sunn O))) play Nickleback. Maybe they will provide your choruses and chugs and party fun.

If there exists a beast roaming this world that is "Metal" than Sunn O))) is this beasts blood, heart, and mind.
