this album is just horrible. i really loved the previous ones, but the new singer is sooo annoying. really sad

It's an improvement but this band really needs to find something that it can call its own.

i really think this band deserves more praise than they get every song is so damn catchy and once you know it, its near impossible not to sing along to atleast the choruses.

I'm torn. I love the band still, but i don't know how i feel on this one.. ill break it down:
I love the new singer- it's a fresh change, and his range (screams and cleans) is pretty much improved.
The band as a whole has gotten much tighter it seems
They have kept true to the "catchy-core" thing that made them my favorite in the first place.
They have improved the instrumentals quite a bit, as well as actually having flow within a song (huge problem on "blessed..")
BUT: i don't like the production: tooo edited. i mean it honestly sounds like they were TRYING to sound like a computer fixed em up. i thought the point of that was to make it easier to distinguish each part&clean it up a bit.
the new singer: just doesn't have the same feel. he seems to be tooo big of a fan of autotune for my liking.
and finally, they just seem to have lost some of that Raw energy they had in their old stuff. i dunno if i like the change
I'm going to give this a few more listens at work tomorow and see what i think...

*also!
it seems everyone else is as torn as i am. everyone either loves this album and is giving it over 3.5, or under a 3.0, but not much in that middle range. but this is expected when a bands lead singer is switched.
