@Pangea: their name demands you hear this, the universe would be out of sync if you didn't. Having said that your pie has me pessimistic about the potential outcome.

I mostly just jam disc 2, cuts it down to a neat hour-long album (stop exaggerating park, this is under 90 mins in total), but disc 1 is still an engaging, albeit occasional listen.

The only way to listen is to listen to both discs. Multiple times.

the only way to listen to this is to listen to it while also listening to through silver and blood, panopticon, salvation and the galilean satellites at the same time

@demon of the fall

it's true. i can't ignore an album with this name (i will have to listen to together pangea at some some point as well). i do enjoy some metal and i could like this as well based on the description and genre tags. i will give it a shot anyway

@marskid totally! Heliocentric is the only miss for me. I tried so hard but couldn't get into that one. Still need to really listen to their latest more, I only gave it a listen or two but I never went back to it

They've become much more purely post-metal over the years and the hardcore has been substantially lessened. Kind of a loss, but they're still able to right truly thrilling songs I think.
