No, I definitely hear Queen influence on here. Yeah Epitaph is obvious, but I hear it on Victim of Changes and Dreamer Deceiver as well. The harmonized scream on Island of Domination is also likely inspired by them.

I really expected to like this more. The artsier tracks here (Dreamer Deceiver, prelude, Epitaph) just do nothing for me. Also, why does he deliver the word "tyrant" on that hook like hes half asleep and just finished yawning? Annoying as hell

Honestly ruins the song for me. I internally groan every time it comes up. Which sucks because the guitar solo on there is fucking awesome
