I'll never understand why people want the same old things from bands and refuse all changes. The old stuff is still there and it's still great, so if you want that, listen to that! I'm glad tmv is doing something different. This is a sweet album and a great review.

It's not that I want the same thing from them twice, its that they've been completely directionless for the past three albums. Their albums make no sense to me and feel very disjointed from song to song.

Ugh I want to like this album so much more than I do because parts of it freakin' rule. It just gets too boring at points.

I put it on this afternoon for the first time with company round. I had to turn it off a little while in because it got too boring. I'm not going to rate it yet because there's a huge chance I've not given it the time/deliberation it deserves. But it's still not a good sign!

De-loused will always be my favorite. ALWAYS.

TMV ain't "keeping the industry fresh." They're still crazy and weird, this was just really a subdued crazy weird. I'm re-listening to this and it's not as boring as I first thought. Might up to a 3. Might not.
