The only thing that could make me love this album even more is a hypothetical new re-issue that includes the cut material like the t/t and From the Darkside. I would probably implode

Nah Dedicated is wayy better

it doesn't quite reach those heights mostly because the guy on this album can actually sing. Who likes that?`

"might even like this better than the studio version idk"
It's sweet but I definitely like the studio version more. It has a stronger, colder atmosphere imo

fucking love the acoustic rendition of the main riff tho its genius. works so well in the chorus instead of just power chords

yea pretty sure he can sing any queensyche shit
also heard that new queensryche cant play operation mindcrime in full

Indeed sometimes he tries to butcher stuff like Walk in the Shadows. Queensryche can obviously play the Ryche repertoire but (I believe) they can't play any of the Mindcrimes (1 and 2) in full, which isn't saying much since they can still play individual cuts

So I heard the acoustic version of the killing fields from MTV Unplugged before ever hearing the album version...and have always liked the unplugged version a lot more.
Empire-era Tate's voice was aging quite well and had this beautiful, warm quality to it that is not quite there in the studio version, and I miss it every time.
