For me it would be Perils of the Sea (5) > Rollercoaster (4.8) > Ghosts = April = Benji (4.3) > Ocean Beach (3.8) > Down Colorfull Hill (3.5)

Not as big on DCH eh? Only thing dragging that one down a tad for me is "Lord Kill the Pain", which is fun but also a bit of a piss-take.

Johnny, Ghosts is just pure smooth beauty, I'm glad that was my first Koz experience cause it's just gorgeous front to back.

Yeah Lord Kill the Pain is the obvious offender, but I also thought the title track and (especially) the opener were really boring. Need to rivisit though, it was my introduction to the band so I might think differently now.

Lord Kill the Pain is the weakest track but it's still better than almost everything after RHP's.

As in, this album, or the band? If the first, Shadows and Drop easily beat it (and if the second you're even more wrong ;) )

Damn, DCH title track is one of my top 5 Koz tracks so far, so beautiful. Absolutely love the opener too. Seems you're maybe not as much into his mega slowcore stuff then?

And yeah Ghandhi, I still like LKTP but I can never get over how much it sounds like a Smiths parody.

Oh man, "Strawberry Hill" just came on and the moment when the main guitar riff enters is just glorious.

Yeah unlike the other songs on that album, it's pretty obviously influenced by The Smiths.

Been going back to “Strawberry Hill” a bit lately, the guitar in that one resonates like little else.
