actually switch Poets and Happiness (on my ranking) because Poets is probably the best song he did on his "pop" albums

I only dislike one song on here now...I think that warrants a bump.

I used to not be crazy about Maria and The Devil’s Own, but when I listened to this out of order they grew on me a lot

"out of order"
how dare ye
(have you tried the original running order before Sylvian ran out of funds/put new songs in; ex. Ride was supposed to be the opener but he ran out of money and scapped it after recording the backing track)

Love Maria and The Devils Own grew on me so much. Waterfront is the only one which I've never liked.

"Waterfront is the only one which I've never liked."
same here, a bit too much pathos in it, kills the atmosphere. Also feels so unnecessary after "happiness", which would have been a perfect closer.

Pretty much, it's really sappy and over-dramatic. I much prefer adding Forbidden Colours as the final song.

Waterfront is great but agreed that Happiness would be an even better closer
Fripp I'm revisiting Everything and Nothing; Ride is fantastic, I'm gonna try jamming this starting with that.

I need to own this, it just gets better and better. The Devil's Own's verses are unbelievable, such resonance to voice.

I still love this, but over the years Dead Bees On A Cake has become the preferable Sylvian album for me, along with Blemish. Such an artist of the highest caliber.
