I really love Havoc too. I think they're pretty equal.

that is also wrong, after Murda Muzik, they were equal but on The Infamous and Hell on Earth, Prodigy is clearly superior

Eh I don't know. I'm just saying I like them both pretty equally.

Wow, I haven't listened to this album probably 14 years. I remember my short stint of rap/gangsta phase when I was in middle school, but then went Nu metal when Deftones - Adrenaline and Korn - Life is Peachy came out. Damn, that was 15 years ago....shit.

Oh snap! Youngin', but with some good taste in music. Dude, I know this is a Mobb Deep thread, but I saw Immortal in Chicago last week. It was the shit.

Lol yes this is the world I wanna live in, mixing black metal and hip-hop in the same conversation. But yeah they came around here a few weeks ago and I would've went, but I'm broke as shit right now. You're a lucky bastard.

Yeah, they played lots of Sons, some Damned, some battles, and at the heart. I thrashed heavily

that is so wrong, listen to The Infamous, this, Murda Muzik. he was one of the top MCs at the time

Well obviously I've listened to this and The Infamous, and he's just a fairly average lyricist. I'm not knocking Mobb Deep, I remember I used to bump Survival of the Fittest every day in 7th grade, but lyrically it isn't special. Basically, if I heard MD without knowing their status, I wouldn't have any hesitation in calling the lyrics average.

Actually I recently learned that the original cover was a kick-ass dragon but they had to change it due to copyright infringement issues.
