You can't deny the flows he deliver on the album
I wasn't really feeling it anywhere, tbh.
Saying that he's not like he was 9 years ago is not a smart thing to say, especially because I don't know any artist who sounds the same in a 9 year span. I wouldn't want to listen to them anymore, it will get boring. Sure it's good to hear some throwback songs but nothing to make you say, "yeah, heard it before, nothing special."
Calling this album a progression might be a stretch.

my first listen was enough to convince me i'd invest my time better elsewhere. maybe i'm missing something and it's better then I give it credit for but the sheer mediocrity of what I heard is something I am fully aware is not going to grow on me much.

that was a great song, but i'm not expecting the same thing to be rehashed here. I always welcome artists who progress with new ideas, but to me this album felt sorely lacking in quality.

This album is straight dope. Haven't stopped listening to it since i got it the day it came out. How can you not mention Insane which is maybe the best song on the album next to Underground. Deja Vu and Hello are also ill. So this gets a 1 but Encore gets a 3, and T-Pain's Epiphany a 3.5, that's just insane. You also gave illmatic a 3.5. Just shows this guy doesn't know hip hop.

Maybe you should be writing a review for The Heavy Metal Fuckers or something because it looks a rapper's wordplay isn't something that you understand well. You ask who cares about Eminem and his problems, well you need to see that the last person who does is Eminem. Fuck writing stuff that everyone likes. If he wanted to he would write an album that you couldn't help but give a five, but where is the fun in that? As far as i'm concerened, the less people that like this album, the better it is..
