There are some albums where I'll always remember that one time I listened to them, like the first time I heard Kid A or when Angel Dust clicked or something, and surprisingly I have one with this album when I was crazy sick and needed something chill to sleep to and god knows why I picked this but I kept going in and out of sleep in time with the heavy and slower parts and it was fucking awesome.

yeah me too, it just barely fits the post-rock description. It's like a mix of electronic and math/tech rock, with some hard rock thrown in. But it's ambient enough, and with enough climax/build up formulas to be considered post-rock.

omfg, this record is so full of interesting play between the 'heavy, raw hard rock stuff' and the 'dense, atmospheric electronic stuff'. Sometimes they lead into one another, sometimes they are layered over each other, sometimes they climax at separated points, sometimes they climax together in one big, dense explosion. This record is simply mind blowing.

I totally disagree, I love the dialogue, where it's placed, it's lyrical content, and how it provides a different atmosphere and texture for the bliss going on behind it
