its a grower, much like meshuggah, and textures, and bands of this type. However, the prog elements and melodies of this album are keeping me hooked. I REALLY REALLY REALLY love this bands vocals, very fitting for the type of riffing going on. extremely solid release from a solid band, nuff said

I remembered this album as boring because I didn't give it time to grow.

After a couple months of no listens, I just put "to walk among them" on while I was setting up a program and well... I stopped what I was doing. All the pieces i faintly remembered came back to me right away
