It's got the hooks of pop-punk. Great album/band.

Agreed, I just hope they will find their drive again for IV.

It's like it's too catchy to be punk, so it has to be pop-punk by default.
I think for 'IV' (if that's what it's going to be called), they just can't force anything. It will be too obvious if they do... & that includes if they go too much the other way & try to be too heavy.

IV is also my favourite Led Zeppelin album so I'm keeping my hopes up.

I think BT have a bit of a way to go to reach LZ status.

It's impossible I know.

I have a feeling I'd like it if these guys went really, really poppy.

Really? I'm not sure Ben's weird voice could pull it off. F**k, I still remember the 1st time I ever heard it... Thought it was f'n awful.
|
| |
Weirdly, I didn't. First time I ever heard it was when I saw the Red Flag video on TV and back then I wasn't even into music, let alone jarring stuff like his vocals, but they never really sat wrong with me.

if the first time you heard Ben's voice was on "Line and Sinker," your reaction was pretty common, Davey. I love that song tho

I first heard it when I saw 'Fallen Leaves' on tv and I was like wtf what is this beautiful kind of music... so I bought the cd and the rest is history.

wow i first heard BT when MMUSA was rebranded as "Fuse" (i don't know if Fuse is still on the air but i loved that shit)... one of the first commercials was for Billy Talent (and they played a clip of Try Honesty)

Well, it was a music video, but I honestly can't recall which one.
'Try Honesty' is probably my fave song of theirs.
