Davey: no, it's not wrestling-related. it would be if i could find the damn Hulk Hogan album, but it's no-go.
i might do john cena's album soon, though...the review we have of it is very weak.
i considered doing dark side of the moon as #100, but it just bored me. then i considered Reign in Blood, but that's waaaay overrated. so i gave up the whole "epic album" idea, and i'm going for a different kind of epic...

hmmm...i just found something that MAY link my #100 review to wrestling again...

i had the opportunity to buy this today, i went for the new maximo park instead, bad times.
yeah this is better than the new Maximo Park.

Hmmm, you still have me intrigued Pedro. Oh well, I'm gonna have to wait until I get back to read it. Good luck with review #100.
It's almost time for me to say "au revoir" for the better part of 2 months peeps.
I'm taking a few albums that I have yet to listen to properly with me, so hopefully they impress. It will be the likes of:
- Paramore x2
- Gallows x2
- Valencia x2
- Emery x3.5
- P.O.S x2
- Hard-Fi x2
- Red x2
- Jacks Mannequin x2
- Madina Lake x2
& the band I'm most looking forward to listening to... THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM x2.5
Gee, looking back on that list, it's nicely varied. I'm happy with it.

I said "Tuesday" for the rest of the world. I leave noon'ish tomorrow our time.
Thanks Billy, but I think Ian's side project can wait a month.
I'll probably have a list of the cities ranked upon return. That should piss off someone.
And to my list above, I added:
- Thrice x3
- Phrase x1
- The Subways x2
- Girl Talk x2
- The Living End x1

I bought this the other day for 10 bucks, good buy. Couldn't stand his voice at first, but then after getting through the album it grew. Now rather enjoy it, Red Flag is epic.

Sorry Dougie, I missed your comment from last week. Yeah, $10 is a good buy for this & 'Red Flag' is indeed epic. They close their live set out with that song.
And re: his voice, I sum it up in the summary to my review of their debut album: "F**K FIRST IMPRESSIONS"

i think billy talent should play more metal, as devil in a midnight mass would be sooo awesome with more distorion and blast beats
|
| |
This was very good listened to it a lot during my teen years..
Wish they'd rest Billy Talent and do some "Pezz" tho..

But Billy Talent aren't a metal band. I can see why you may want it VARGHULF, but I think that would probably throw other things off with the band.
To be honest Twizzie, I never really looked into their Pezz stuff.

Oh my God davey I didn't know you reviewed this. Respect man!

Oh hell yeah, love me some Billy Talent. While I wasn't as down on 'III' as most, I do think they have some pressure on them to deliver on their next album though.
|
| |
I didn't like III very much, cause it was essentially more of the same, but this album will always be one of my favourites simply because it helped me through a very tough time in my life. Also, huh this is pop punk?

Punk, pop-punk, whatever... It's excellent...
But I prefer their debut.
