On the one hand yeah he made gallows what they were, and they were truly incredible live. But god we are dicks for giving him shit now he's happy. Let him be and just enjoy Orchestra and Britain

Nah, pure love is pretty shit. Gallows with wade is generic, but at least has energy and attitude.

Pure Love is frank doing what he loves to do, while gallows sound forced nowadays. (atleast to me)

you could say though if frank was still doing it, it would be just as if not even more forced, as his heart is obviously not into this kind of music anymore. i think it's good he stayed while it still meant something for him and left when it didn't.

To me, this is the quintessential punk band of the late noughties. I mean, it doesn't get any more "fuck you and your

mum" than this.

"quintessential punk band"

on orchestra yeah, this is a bit more hardcore ish, still i agree, this band imo is one of the most influential for the hardcore/punk scene in the last few years.

Remember seeing this band 3/4 years ago in Manchester when i was 15/16. Absolutely fucking mental. What was weird is that there were also 40 and 50 year olds who were literally tearing the pits up haha. Not the same without Frank.
