Well, I'll take my review being convincing as a compliment... Although I can tell you I was close to rating this a 3.5.

I guess a lot of people think most pop-punk is bland'ish. If anything, Kisschasy may bring something new to the table to non-Australian listeners simply because of the accent.

I never really thought much to this band. they aren't bad, but they aren't amazing. a 3 sounds about right.

I didn't think you'd be a huge fan of theirs Croc (despite them being local)... And I would also presume that you prefer their newer album a little more anyway since it's a bit rockier than this debut.

Actually, one of the newer songs did get my attention. I can't even remember but I thought the singles did their job.

Without giving too much away for my next review, I thought all the singles from the new album were strong. Opinions Won't Keep You Warm at Night (funny video & all), Spray On Pants, Strings and Drums & Ugly Birds in a Beautiful Cages all brought in a wider audience for them and were pretty good to varying degrees.

Yeah true. Spray on Pants and one of the others were good songs. I had the sudden urge to review some motley crue albums, and found out the band has been removed from sputnik!

Spray on Pants is an awesome song. On the subject of the singers accent, its actually what originally attracted me to the band, very good vocals.

That's the thing about Darren's accent Billy, it can be both a blessing & a curse, depending on (a) where one lives and (b) what the listener feels towards pop-punk.

Of late (the past 5 days) I have been Hiking to the pinnicale of Victoria, Mt Bogong (1986 metres). I've been right through the high plains from Falls Creek to Hotham! Great fun!

Haha Davey you know I was only pulling your leg, course I read the review, aand a very good one it was at that. Having not heard of this band the intrigue me slightly although the lack of high ratings makes me think they are not anything special.

Leave my leg alone Ross. Umm, I don't think Kisschasy would be your type of thing to be honest. There's probably a few songs here and there that may take your fancy, but I can see you being one of the many rating this between 2.5 & 3.5. Tha'ts my thoughts's's's anyway.
