Omen ftw
Actually saw them in Wembley Arena back in '09. It was intense as fuck

This is the one album by them that kind of goes in one ear and out the other. I can never get fully into it.

Some songs are bangers, others are filler. Seeing the shit played live certainly enhanced the experience

@artiswar I can see where you’re coming from, but I honestly have to disagree. It’s really only the last two tracks that kinda feel like filler, and everything else before that just slaps. Full disclosure though, this was the album that got me into The Prodigy, so I might be slightly biased towards it.

This came out after I got out of them, then TDIME got me back into them. So this is sort of the red-headed step-child in their discography for me. It's just not as spicy as I like my Prodigy.

We all prefer 'em fat, don't we

I’ve always thought TDIME was sorta bland, almost Always Outnumbered 2.0, and they really took a step back in the right direction with NT. Dif’rent folks, dif’rent strokes I guess. It is what it is.

NT was good but I dug how much vocals there were on TDIME. Also that one has a few of my fave songs by them like Roadblox and Rokweiler. I didn't find it bland at all, I thought it was rather varied in palette. I'm not super hot on AONOG but it has some serious bangers like Spitfire.

Spitfire is like the only good song on AOAO (try saying the acronym out loud, sounds better than most of the album) though

Yeah, that one kind of set the bar way too high with the opener. Also the acronym is fucking annoying.

That was a joke meant to show how bad the album is though...

Music for the Jilted Generation for the win.

The Prodigy is similar with how I like Kasabian: they have an album that’s straight fire, and then drop another that’s kinda meh, and then repeat the cycle.

It has its moments. I really like maybe 1/3 of it quite a bit.

Jilted Generation is their best, followed by Fat of the Land.

Believe it or not, that’s their only LP I haven’t gotten around to listening to. Gotta fix that one of these days...

It's great. I haven't heard anything post-Invaders. Not even a single.

Oh wow. That one's uhhh, a bit odd. Out Of Space and Ruff In The Jungle are pretty legendary though imo.
