They have a 2 minute clip of a new song out if you check their facebook. it's gonna be on a split EP with The Ocean.

That one doesn't really hit me that hard. One of my least favs on here actually.

I think Ashes is almost unanimously agreed as being Mono's best song by a large margin. Except for maybe, maybe Halcyon. But you know everyone's different. They're both awesome songs.

Wish this wasn't so dull. I'm supposed to like this"

Glad to see you've changed your mind!

Don't know if my girlfriend will be happy with me saying this but seeing the climax of Ashes in the Snow during a live sound check was legitimately the greatest moment of my life. And I know it's corny when people say that stuff about gigs and I tend not to but that moment was different.

Mongi if you haven't heard Halcyon yet, you owe it to yourself:

That whole album is masterful too. That and this are their best albums IMO.

no i love everlasting light, sorry i meant you are there. i dont really like that album too much. i think eventually it will grow on me but its taking a very long time. i love a lot of the melodies but sometimes i feel theres too much noise separating them.

if the battle to heaven was axed from this album, it would be a flawless album.

It's not necessary. It doesn't achieve anything that the rest of the songs haven't already achieved, and it's too long and sort of kills the momentum a bit leading into final track.
