I haven't heard the album, but I actually didn't really mind the songs I heard. Sure Part Of Me is basically a Timbaland hit template but it's catchy and if it makes more people take a look at Cornell (and it has been playing in clubs, where most people don't know Cornell) it's a good thing.

Watch Out is a pretty cool song. The lyrics are cheesy but that seems to be Cornell's style for the album.

And I love Long Gone I'd say it's the best track on the album. I think Cornell's vocals sound awesome on that track!

But like I said I haven't heard the full album so I can't really give a final opinion.

Thanks for the comments guys. I personally prefer Morello's stuff with RATM, as I love his riffs, but can appreciate his stuff with Audioslave too.

If Cornell carries on doing shit like this, it'd be him hanging from a pretty noose or pulling the Jesus Christ pose

I'll be here all night

I love the point where artists loose their mind to their ego and think everything they touch is godbreathed. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to see greats try and pedal alt-rock-crunk as the way of the future.

I think that Chris Cornell has rooted himself and his fanbase in rock and that a R&B album is pointless. I think this album would recieve a much better reception if there were a different singer IE, someone whose key assosiation is with rock.

I knew it wouldn't work. Chris needs to get back into a steady band.

The intro to Part of Me is pretty amusing, which is kind of like how this album is kinda funny and then it's just bad.
