Omission from this fella is one of my favourite songs of all time but I don't know where to start with the rest of it, from what I remember the album was hit and miss. Does any tune in his collection come close to that absolute classic?

good songs with a similar vibe to omission:

song to sing when i'm lonely

time goes back

the slaughter

wishing

look on

dissolve

the past recedes

you'd prob be best off just listening to the curtains album tho

You should definately not buy his 1st two records or his last EP and LP as a "beginner".

2004 is a good year for beginners.

There are the studio-masterpiece albums->

Choose wisely:

you want to get into

a) very raw rock-velvet underground mood

b) the acoustic stripped down masterpiece with an intimidating goose bumps atmosphere

c) the melodic and harmonic masterpieces, feelings stretched down to the most audio-visible perspective

d) jam-impro masterpiece where overly advanced musicians wrap it up all over the place!

This is how you solve the problem:

a) Check out Inside of Emptiness

b) Check out Curtains

c) Check out The Will To Death

d) Ataxia

That "Believe Me Girl RELLLLLAX" reminds me also a bit of the album-closer "Sum" of PBX (best song on the album!!!!)

The message of the song just climaxes down on the lowest common denominator: the melody played just as simple as on an acoustic guitar... then he even glorifies and celebrates this intimate gesture...

Oh- how i love this dude! extraterrestial human being that took the spirit of Jimi Hendrix passed away body and reincarnated right six months later and took it from there!

I've only checked out one Frusc album (Empyrean) and didn't dig it as much as I had hoped, I'll probably listen to another one of his some time soon, but sad times. I loved his cover of Tim Buckleys Song To The Siren granted
