If you only have U218 Singles, get the Joshua Tree.

Hey BFhuricanne i also started with the U218 singles collection and loved it. i got joshua tree next as Nagrarok suggested and its also great. you might also want to look at what albums your favorite songs on the u218 disc are originally from.

I love this album so much! I think it's a classic! It grabs you with it's melodic grip and tension, and the songwriting goes from good to amazing. 5/5

dude if you think that this is a classic, then you are really gotta hear the older stuff from U2. The older stuff is even better than this.

I think that this is one of the best album's U2 has made ever.
1. Joshua Tree
2. Achtung Baby
3. No Line on the Horizon

Btw, how do you write a review? I'm kinda new :P

go to the "artist page."
for instance do a search for U2. look to the left on the artist page and a box will be there with options. one of the options will be "Add A Review." click on that and all the tools necessary will come up. including all the albums by the artist in the site database. if the album you want to review isn't in the database, you can add it yourself. then just follow the instructions and write your review
after you submit it since it is your first it will have to be approved by a moderator. no biggie, just a technicality, basically. you will be able to see it, however. and you can edit the review as needed through your profile under "Edit My Reviews." appropriately enough :p
any more questions and you may want to visit our forums. sometimes it takes a bit for a question to be answered, but it will be answered. and don't mind some smart ass replies. the forum is full of smart butts

Its either a love or hate record, no other way of putting it. Me personally, it really grew on me. However, I can see why people are turned off by it. They aimed for something new, and it works in spades. Still a great record, and it will get the real praise once they hit the road supporting it. Live music always makes albums that are not so great...great.

Breathe, title track, Boots...some of their best work in ages on here. Pity it's very inconsistent when it comes to the crunch.
|

Boots was such an awful song. I haven't checked anything else out yet.

i think boots is the weakest track on here and it still rules as long as imin the mood for it

i think this is their last good album. songs of innocence disappointed the hell out of me.

This might be better, I love the ambient touches on here. This is probably their deepest album since Achtung Baby or The Joshua Tree.
