Yep, prolly the most technical band ever, very interesting to say the least. I've been a "fan" since day one, I view the band as a circus show however. When I listen to them I mostly do so in order to get my mind blown away, get my jaw dropped etc. Of course music isn't simply about technicality otherwise bands would release tabs and not albums but Psyopus was never about songwriting. Listen to some interviews with Arpmandude and you'll hear him saying he made this band simply to be the most technical wanker out there and to sound really horrible if possible. He does a great job though, can't say there ever was a musician as technical as him. If you're looking for good songwriting you're barking up the wrong tree.

An unbearable journey to the far side of tech.

More like an incredibly mind bogglingly awesome adventure to the fun side of tech.

It's so bad, It's just wanking with no artistic focus. I remember when this came out, I was so bummed that every song was just a whammy bar being shoved up my ass.

I love avant-garde as much as the next guy, but Psyopus blows hard. Seriously. This shit was lame.

I'm noticing a trend on this website (other than "he said it sucks, so i listened to 30 seconds and I agree 1000%) No one ever says exactly what makes it bad.

It's all just 4 or 5 paragraphs saying "I don't like it" in different ways. The most ignorant thing I read in this review was that Murder to Child " lacks any sort of flow and just meanders about" Bro, do you even music?

Yeah, this is pretty bad. Honestly, the riff salad tech-metal stuff just doesn't impress me anymore... yeah, it's impressive in regards to instrumental talent, but does that make it something I actually want to listen to on a regular basis? Not really
