This is easily their worst album. I'd even rather listen to their debut than this.

Going to copy/paste a comment I left on this thread a few pages ago: "City has such interesting and diverse tracks. I don't even think this album has a single tempo change for the entire 50 minutes."

I was talking about ACBTLD on that post, but really, even in comparison to any of their albums this is monotonous as shit.

You'll probably like it since every other Thursday fan on this site besides me geeks out about this alb.

Man yea Low I’m sorry but that’s pretty fuckin wrong

Like every track has a radical change in time and tempo. Second track is half the speed of the first track. Not to mention Beyond the Visible Spectrum being in a waltzy 12/8, Time’s Arrow being an acoustic ballad backed with eerie effects, Circuits of Fever being an ever-shifting epic track that’s constantly changing time with a super cool uplifting bridge, the slow Joy Division tribute Love Has Led Us Astray, and the slow burning but absolutely killer closer You Were the Cancer.

Not liking it is ok but it’s easily one of the most varied Thursday albums
