Does anybody know the artist who wrote "Mad World"?

Alright, I got a text from my sister last night, saying
"You know John Frusciante?" I go "Yeah?" She says "[friend's name]'s boyfriend is his cousin...he says he's coming down here to hang out for a weekend."
Now, [friend's name]'s boyfriend is 20 something and swares up and down they're long-distance cousins. I'm going to look into it. He says he even spent Thanksgiving with him, Flea, Chad, and Anthony along with the rest of his family.
He's supposed to be coming for a weekend pretty soon, so if he does, I'm taking pictures and sneaking into his luggage when he goes back so I can live with him.
Being that he's my supreme idol in music, I am beside myself. And am going to set him up with my mother.

it's an excellent album. Everytime I listen to this, it feels as if I'm taken to another realm where the only people living in it is me and Frusciante.

This is indeed an interesting album. I'll admit I didn't like it as much at first but its really a grower.

Loving this album. Before the beginning was just awesome all the way through and Dark/Light was a great two part song. Wish he hadn't played around with the tone of his voice so much, such as one more of me. Would have been much better with his normal voice but good tune.
