This is my first GY!BE album. I love post-rock as a whole, and this certainly deserves the praise it gets within the genre...



It's going to take a while to digest it all fully, but it certainly fits the mood of the cold autumn mornings atm...

most everyone I know talks of the first 6 minutes of Storm as the best part of the track and sometimes the album, but I think it's the last four minutes, with the static talking and piano. It's so sad after something so colossal, like the end of BBF3. Gorgeous

The climax during Static with the gradually increasing tempo is absolutely insane. It's as heavy as metal.

I also agree with Downer. If you've ever seen the movie Seven Pounds it reminds me alot of the music when the dude and the chick are bangin. The dissonance just seems to be likened within my mind.
