The guitarwork and general atmosphere is pretty far away from those bands, for sure. Those bands pretty much do deathgrind sounds with their own personal twists. There's next to no death in what these guys do. The artful, quasi-melodic qualities of this really make them stand apart and no band has really managed to emulate it.
