damn wiz, a 1.5 that's rough. This is fairly generic I think, but still enjoyable, review's got it right. Holographic Universe is much better than this.

I gave this a listen a few months back and I sold this album quickly (and I don't generally sell any of my metal albums). These guys are a poor mans swedish melo-death band. God, I even hold In Flame's last album over their entire career.

Yes. Generallly, i'm a little more formal, but hey, fuck formalities. Listen to Ghost Prototype II, that is the ebst song on the album. Morphogenesis si also great. What strikes me as odd is you like Soilwork so i'm flabbergasted to why you hate this band so much. Granted, this record is crap, mostly.

Because Soilwork have always kept me interested over the years (besides their last album). They went from a premium swedish melo-death band to an alt-metal outfit with some damn catchy melodies. Lets just pretend Soilwork ended after StD.

Vocally, I like Bjorn more than Christian. Guitar wise, i'd say Scar Symmetry has the better guitarists although i love the heavieness on Stabbing The Drama.This Message Edited On 01.09.09

I prefer every aspect of SS over Soilwork. I think Alvestam is a lot more talented than Strid, especially in his growls. Their cleans are similar but I think Alvestam's voice is much more powerful.



iight maybe soilwork have catchier vocal melodies i'll give them that, but I pretty much think of Scar Symmetry as a buffed up version of Soilwork. Both are great bands though so yea

I've got this and Holographic Universe. I think I prefer HU as well. However, there are still some awesome tracks on here; The Illusionist, Slaves To the Sublimal, Pitch Black Progress.
